Carson Cancer Coalition

The Carson Cancer Coalition is a Connecticut-based 

501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to improving health outcomes related to colon cancer by:

:

1) Educating & empowering communities about colon cancer and how to take control of their health using screenings and a customized, grassroots approach to health education

​

2) Addressing barriers to complete colorectal cancer screenings

​

3) Supporting those battling and affected by colon cancer using financial resources, and mental & spiritual support

From Pain to Purpose

Teri Carson, Founder of Carson Cancer Coalition, knows colon cancer all too well. She is a SURVIVOR and lives each day with the goal of helping others!

​

Teri's recent appointment to Yale University's Cancer Center as Community Advisor Board Member as well as 2024 Community Research Fellow has amplified her ability to get out in the community to spread awareness of colon cancer. Her grassroots approach has meet-you-where-you-are educational tactics, and imparts a strong call-to-action to everyone: getting screened can save your life! 

​

Teri also serves a Master Teaologist at Carson Aesthetics, where she uses natural herbs to heal & alleviate ailments of her patrons. Her goal is to touch as many lives as she can! Her work is expansive and she is thrilled to support all in need, near or far!
